Selected for the Arts To Hearts Project: Emerging Women Artist Award 2024 Summer Edition!

I’m beyond excited to share some truly wonderful news—I’ve been selected as a recipient of the Emerging Women Artist Award: 2024 Summer Edition by the Arts To Hearts Project! This recognition feels incredibly special, and I’m honoured to be a part of this inspiring initiative that celebrates and uplifts women in the arts.

The Arts To Hearts Project is known for its dedication to empowering women artists by creating opportunities for visibility, collaboration, and growth. Being chosen for this award feels like validation for the countless hours of hard work, creativity, and passion that I pour into my art.

As part of the award, my work will be featured in a print edition of the Emerging Women Artist Award: 2024 Summer Edition book, alongside an interview about my process, techniques and tips for other artists!

The Emerging Women Artist Award is designed to spotlight artists who are making significant strides in their practice. The Summer Edition, in particular, focuses on fresh, innovative voices in the art community, and I’m excited to be included among such a talented group of women.

I feel motivated to keep pushing the boundaries of my work, and I am reminded of the importance of representation and the need for more platforms that champion women artists. For me, the journey of being an artist can often be a solitary one, filled with self-doubt and uncertainty, so being acknowledged in this way is both affirming and empowering.

I’m excited to continue creating, exploring, and sharing my artistic journey with all of you. I hope to inspire others, just as I have been inspired by the amazing women artists around me.
