About Fran
Fran Duncan is based in Brighton, UK. Her process-driven pieces explore themes of transformation, resilience, and connection to nature inspired by the spontaneity of alcohol inks.
Over the past 10 years Fran has exhibited nationally and internationally with notable shows at Parrissa Gallery in California and Earth Garden in Tokyo, Japan, where she received the MARUI Corporate Award as part of the HERALBONY Arts Prize 2024. In the same year Fran also received an Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice grant, dedicating the year to deepening her artistic research and expanding her practice.
